Grand Mesa

The Grand Mesa is a 1300 km ² large table mountain in Western Colorado. It consists of a hard volcanic basalt, the 3,454 m high in the Crater Peak has its highest elevation. Table Mountain is nearly equal parts in Mesa County and Delta County. Within the Grand Mesa is the Grand Mesa National Forest, which is located therein, with its over 300 lakes and a variety of campgrounds one of the most visited scenic areas of Colorado for outdoor activities.
