The Grawiede is a right-side tributary of the River Hunte. It flows only in the southern part of the county Diepholz ( Lower Saxony).

Course

The 17 km long Grawiede runs exclusively between the Lower Saxon lake Dumber and the Lower Saxon Circle City Diepholz. It originates from the Dumber, namely on its eastern side in Lembruch, then the federal highway 51, ​​east of the wages and the DB line Lemfoerde - Diepholz flows east in a northerly direction.

Northeast of the city center of Diepholz she takes the left side on the Strothe that was previously submitted by the wages. The Grawiede itself flows through the district Diepholzer Heede and finally flows north of it in the Hunte.

The Grawiede has a catchment area of about 185 square kilometers, of which 7.24 square miles were declared flood plains in 2007.
