Great Britain men's national volleyball team

The British national volleyball team of men is a selection of the best British player who represents the Association Volleyball England in international tournaments and international matches.

History

British men's teams were able to qualify for international competitions until 2006 never.

The FIVB approved at a meeting of the Board of Administration in May 2006, the establishment of a joint British national. The CEV recognized the scheme. The " Team Great Britain " brings together players from England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. This project is part of a series of initiatives aimed at preparing for the British on the 2012 Olympics in London.

In the Europa League in 2008, the British eliminated after the group matches against Greece, the Netherlands, Portugal and Slovakia and occupied the last place.
