Great Western Tiers of Chudleigh from

The Great Western Tiers (English: Great Western (rock ) levels) are a mountain range in the center of the Australian state of Tasmania. Connect the central highlands to the northeast.

The mountain range stretches from the western bluff in the small town of Mole Creek to the southeast, south of the settlement Meander and north of the Great Lake to about 25 km west of Campbelltown and the Macquarie River. The northwest-southeast extension is about 90 km. The highest mountain is the Ironstone Mountain 1,444 m above sea level.

The Great Western Tiers form the border between the fertile valleys of eastern Tasmania and the high, rocky, sparsely populated and barren central plateau.

According to them, the Great Western Tiers Tourist Route was named, which is signposted along the Bass Highway.
