Background

Album Info

The album was announced by the band during a press conference at London's O2 Arena on June 28, 2007. The group gave their reunion known seven years after their last studio album. The band consists again of the five founding members, thus also including Geri Halliwell, who left the group in 1998.

The plan of a comeback and the release of a Greatest Hits album was previously discussed at length in the media, but was the first time officially confirmed by Melanie Brown in June 2005.
