Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)
Headlines ( Friendship Never Ends ) is a song that was written and sung by the British pop group Spice Girls. It was the first single from the compilation album Greatest Hits The song was the first single original members since Geri Halliwell left the band in 1998. Halliwell described the song as "a great love song" and as a "real Spice Girl classic".
The song was the official single for 2007, the British charity event " Children in Need ". The five played the song live for the Telethon in Los Angeles. This was the first appearance of the band as a quintet for nine years.

A 30-second snippet was released on 21 October 2007 on the Internet. Two days later, the worldwide radio premiere took place. A few hours before the official radio premiere of the song had appeared already on the Internet.
The song was primarily written by Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell with support from the producers Matt Rowe and Richard Stannard. The other three band members had subsequently contributed more text. On October 15, 2007, in the TV show "Dancing with the Stars", took part in the Melanie Brown, announced that the Spice Girls shot a music video, which premiered took place on 2 November 2007 on the British television channel BBC One. The video showing the group in different rooms with chandeliers, was filmed at Pinewood Studios by director Anthony Mandler.
