Greece women's national football team

The Greek national football team of women represented Greece in international women's football. The national reports to the Greek Football Federation and is trained by Vangelis Koutsakis. The Greek selection is one of the weaker teams in Europe. In the FIFA world rankings, the team occupies the 65th place in 2013; the best result was achieved with 50th place in September 2008. So far, took the Hellenic selection participate only in the 2004 Summer Olympics, which were held in the Greek capital Athens, and was automatically qualified for the team. Otherwise, the Greek selection could never qualified for a major international tournament.
