In the parliamentary elections in Greenland in 1991 on March 5 were all 27 seats in Inatsisartut or county council to occupy the Greenland Parliament again.

Result

The Social Democratic Party Siumut was strongest faction in Inatsisartut, followed by Atassut and Inuit Ataqatigiit. The Centre Party Akulliit Partiiat pulled with two seats in parliament for the first time, the polar party Issittup Partiia held her seat

Lars -Emil Johansen ( Siumut ) was elected as the new prime minister. He took over the position of his party colleague Jonathan Motzfeldt.
