Greens of Slovenia

The Zeleni Slovenije ( German: Green Slovenia, short ZS) is a green party in Slovenia.

History

The party was founded on June 11, 1989 as part of the democratization wave of Eastern European countries.

In the first two free parliamentary elections in 1990 and 1992, the party managed to progress to the National Assembly. Since the election of 1996, but not made ​​the jump over the four- percent threshold, and has since also no longer represented parliament. At the last election in 2011 she won just 0.36 percent.

Program

In its program, the party depends, inter alia for the following:

  • Promotion and development of renewable energy
  • In all households should be accessible running water in the water lines
  • Feral acreage by the State to be delivered to people who plow these areas, thus increasing the self-sufficiency
