Greg Britz

Gregory " Greg" Britz ( born January 3, 1961 in Buffalo, New York ) is a retired American professional ice hockey player who played in his time from 1979 to 1987 among others for the Toronto Maple Leafs and Hartford Whalers in the National Hockey League has.

Career

Greg Britz began his career as a hockey player in the team from Harvard University, where he was active from 1979 to 1983 in the National Collegiate Athletic Association. On November 2, 1983, he signed subsequently signed a contract as a free agent with the Toronto Maple Leafs, for which he came to seven missions in the National Hockey League in the following two years. The attacker could never catch on with the Canadians, so that it was almost exclusively for their farm team, the St. Catharines Saints, in the American Hockey League during the period 1983-1986 on the ice. In November 1986, the Americans finally joined in the NHL as a free agent with the Hartford Whalers, where he ran aground in the 1986/87 season only one game in the NHL. He spent the rest of the season again in the AHL, where he scored 28 goals for Hartford Whalers Binghamton farm team in a total of 87 games and had 19 templates. After the season, he finished his career at the age of 26 years.
