Gregory O'Kelly

John Gregory O'Kelly SJ ( born August 10, 1941 in Adelaide ) is Bishop of Port Pirie.

Life

Gregory O'Kelly joined the Congregation of the Jesuits and received on 9 December 1972, the ordination.

Pope Benedict XVI. appointed him auxiliary bishop on 6 July 2006 in Adelaide and Titular Bishop of Ath Truim. He received his episcopal consecration of the Archbishop of Adelaide, Philip Edward Wilson, on 14 September of the same year; Co-consecrators were Leonard Anthony Faulkner, Archbishop Emeritus of Adelaide, and Daniel Eugene Hurley, Bishop of Port Pirie.

On 15 April 2009 he was appointed Bishop of Port Pirie.
