Gręzino

Gręzino ( German name Granzin, Belgard ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It belongs to the municipality Rabino ( United Rambin ) in a circle Świdwin ( Schivelbein ).

The small village hinterpommersche Gręzino located 19 kilometers south of Białogard ( Belgard ) and can be reached on a secondary road connecting Białogard - Rabino - Połczyn Zdrój (Bad Polzin ) via the branch Rzecino ( Retzin ). The nearest train station is seven kilometers away Rabino on the railway line Stargard - Gdańsk.

Granzin was until 1945 one of Vorwerk Retzin ( Rzecino ) and is still closely associated with this community. In 1804 the estate came into the possession of the Granzin Retziner landlord Ernst Friedrich Leopold of Münchow. With the community Retzin Granzin belonged until 1945 to the official and the civil registry district Arnhausen (Polish: Lipie ).

At that time the village belonged to the district of Belgard ( Persante ) ( Białogard ) and the District Court area Bad Polzin. The police station was stationed in Great Rambin.

Today Gręzino is part of Gmina Rabino in powiat Świdwiński.

Ecclesiastical Granzin belonged until 1945 to the parish Arnhausen ( Lipie ) Church in Belgard county in Pomerania church of the Evangelical Church of the Old Prussian Union. Last German minister was Pastor Egbert Zieger. - Today Gręzino lies in the parish of Koszalin ( Koszalin ) in the Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland the Polish Evangelical-Augsburg Church.
