Grigory Kaminsky

Grigori Naumovich Kaminski (Russian Григорий Наумович Каминский; * 20 Oktoberjul / November 1 1894greg in Jekaterinoslaw, .. † February 10, 1938 in Moscow ) was a Soviet politician. From 1920 to 1921 he was First Secretary of the Azerbaijan Communist Party and from 1936 to 1937 Minister of Health of the Soviet Union.

Life and career

From 1934 to 1936 he was People's Commissar of Health first for the Russian SFSR, from 1936 to 1937 then for the whole Soviet Union. This corresponded to the post of Soviet Minister of Health.
