Grip Lighthouse

The Grip fyr is a beacon in the West Norwegian commune Kristiansund in Møre og Romsdal Fylke. The cast iron tower stands on a foundation of stone. For beacon station also heard another boathouse and two docks. Grip fyr is situated on a rock near the fishing village of Grip, before the town Kristiansund The flat rock island grip was until 1964, with 400 inhabitants, the smallest municipality in Norway.
