Geography

Großengersdorf lies in the wine district in Lower Austria, about five kilometers east of Wolkersdorf on the edge of the hill country, which concludes the March field to the north. The area of ​​the municipality covers 15.53 square kilometers. 6.65 percent of the area is forested.
