The Great Seekopf is a 2,085 m high mountain in the Allgäu Alps.
Location
It is located in the ridge leading from the little Seekopf the pointer to Wengen head and fog horn, east above the eponymous Seealpsees. The saddle height is at least 45 meters, the dominance of 900 meters.
Botany
The Great Seekopf is botanically interesting. Here you can find rare plants like the moon diamond or the ostrich bellflower.
Ascent
On the Great Seekopf leads no marked trail. You can trail from Edmund -Probst -Haus him not difficult - reach Prinz-Luitpold -Haus. The Great Seekopf is touristy insignificant. West beneath the Great Seekopfes the trail from Edmund- Probst- house runs to the Prinz-Luitpold -Haus.
