Guapo (band)
Guapo is a British experimental rock band that was founded in 1994.
Band History
In the first years after the founding Guapo published first few EPs. The debut album was followed by split- releases with Oharu and magma. Later there was also cooperation with Ruins and Cerberus Shoal. The musical style Guapos is varied and diverse. There are points of contact with Progressive Rock, Zeuhl, Rock in Opposition and post-rock.
In the history of the band, there have been line-up changes, Dave Smith is the only constant member. Many musicians have in common that they are also active in other bands or were, for example, Daniel O'Sullivan at Ulver and Sunn O))) or Kavus Torabi at Cardiacs.
