Guelo Star

Gerald Eric Rodriquez ( born August 6, 1987 in Ponce, Puerto Rico) (aka Guelo Star, G -Star, El Léon or La Pelicula viviente ) is a Puerto Rican representative of reggaeton and hip- hop.

Beginnings ( to 2006)

Guelo Star grew up in Ponce, he did not know his father and his mother did not care much about him. Gerald looked father substitute for the large dealers and gangsters, no longer went to school and told himself that once he become a star. Guelo Star began to talk, he was the best rapper in the whole district, until someone challenged him and flew his lies. After that Gerald tried to earn money as a rapper. Through his friend, he learned Maximan Jowell y Randy 2006, the duo, who has a multi-headed group searched for a project: From the reggaeton group Casa De Leones was formed.

Casa De Leones ( 2007)

In 2007, the album Casa De Leones appeared from the same band. Of the four singles released Guelo Star was heard on only one, No Te Veo. However, he is best known for the concerts of the group a slightly larger audience.

Somos De Calle Remix (2008)

In 2008, Guelo Star was invited by Daddy Yankee rapping on his Somos De Calle Remix, along with many other young talents. Guelo Star said, and promptly received several requests from different record labels.

Live Music ( 2009 -)

In spring 2009, Guelo Star signed his first record deal with Live Music, a sublabel of WY Records, the label of Wisin y Yandel. With live music have been published his first three albums. He was also involved in the Label Sampler by WY Records.
