Guggenbühl

Guggenbühl ( colloquially Guggi ) is a district of the city of Winterthur. Together with the neighborhoods Groat, Hegmatten, Hegi, Talacker, Zinzikon, Reutlingen, Stadel and Ricketwil it forms the circle 2 (Upper Winterthur).

Neighborhood structure

The district Guggenbühl is a relationship of apartment buildings and single-family residential district simple. Many properties in the district are owned by housing associations. Two roads cut through the neighborhood: The Stadler road and the railway line Oberwinterthur - Seuzach. The district has about 5900 inhabitants. 30 % of the inhabitants are of foreign nationality. 16 % of the residents are senior citizens.

As a residential district Guggenbühl has little infrastructure and little shops. In the area of the district is the swimming Upper Winterthur, the primary school and the district centers Guggenbühl Eichwäldli and center are on Buck. Two neighborhood associations promote the conviviality and good neighborly coexistence in the neighborhood.
