Gundagai Shire

Gundagai is located in the southeast of the state on the Murrumbidgee River about 160 km north- west of the Australian capital Canberra and 370 km southeast of the city of Sydney. The area includes 49 districts and towns, including Adjungbilly, coolac, Darbalara, Gundagai, Mundarlo, Muttama, Pettitts, Reno, Tumblong and parts of Jugiong and Nangus. The seat of the Shire Council is located in Gundagai, where about 2,000 inhabitants.

Management

The Gundagai Shire Council has eight members who are elected by the residents of the LGA. Gundagai is not divided into districts. From the circle of Councillor also the Mayor ( Mayor ) of the Council recruited.
