Geography

Gunjur is located in the West Coast region, district, Kombo South, and is about three kilometers from the Atlantic coast and about ten kilometers from Sanyang. After Brikama the distance is about 16 kilometers.

In Gunjur are sacred and religious stones as a place of worship under the name Kenye - Kenye Jamango known, it was the place of worship of Omar Saidu Tall. Also, the place of worship Tengworo is located here.
