Kombo South

Kombo South is one of 35 districts - the second highest level of administrative divisions - the West African nation of Gambia. It is one of nine districts in the West Coast region.

According to a calculation by 2013 there live about 88 037 inhabitants, the result of the last published census of 2003 was 62 531.

The name is derived from Kombo, a former small kingdom.
