Günter Kutowski

Günter " cowl " Kutowski ( born August 2, 1965 in Paderborn ) is a former German football player.

The combative defensive player Günter Kutowski came 1984 on the SV sands and 1 FC Paderborn at Borussia Dortmund.

The greatest success of his career was winning the DFB Cup 1989 on June 24, 1989 in Berlin against Werder Bremen. Kutowski was a regular player in this season and his team won 4-1.

In the seasons 1994/95 and 1995/96, as Dortmund German champion twice, Günter Kutowski has been used only sporadically. In the newly formed star ensemble of coach Ottmar Hitzfeld him players like Julio Cesar Jurgen Kohler or ran from the rank and Kutowski was only substitute with eleven league inserts. Kutowski stood until 1996 in Dortmund under contract and received at 288 Bundesliga appearances 53 yellow cards and one red card. He scored three goals in those twelve years.

Following Kutowski moved for one year to the 2nd Bundesliga for Rot-Weiss Essen, but only got seven inserts. His career was at SC Paderborn 07 finish: Here he came between 1997 and 2001 still 82 games ( 3 goals ) in the then Regionalliga West / Southwest (at the time the third- highest division ).

After the completion of his active career as a footballer, he works as a player agent. He plays in the tradition of team Borussia Dortmund.
