Günther Ballier

Anton Günther Albert Gustav Ballier ( born October 18, 1900 in Berlin, † April 20, 1980 ) was a German film and theater actor and voice actor who has worked primarily as a supporting actor in DEFA and DFF productions.

Life

Ballier studied theater and worked until 1923 temporarily as a bank clerk before he held various theatrical engagements at theaters in Potsdam, Neuss, Hanover, Augsburg and Berlin. In addition to his theater work, he worked from 1933 in German films, mostly in smaller roles, including in films such as heath schoolmaster Uwe Karsten (1933 ) and Love and the first railway (1934 ), with.

After the end of World War II, he performed at the State Theatre in Brandenburg and Berlin at various stages, separated by a short teaching at the Academy of Drama Fritz Kirchhoff.
