Gustav A. Schneebeli

Gustav Adolphus Schneebeli (* May 23, 1853 in Neusalz, Prussia, † February 6, 1923 in Nazareth, Pennsylvania ) was an American politician. Between 1905 and 1907 he represented the State of Pennsylvania in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Gustav Schneebeli was born in Neusalz, the now Polish Nowa Sól. He emigrated with his parents to the United States, where the family settled in Bethlehem (Pennsylvania). There he attended the public schools. He later moved to Nazareth, where he worked in the trade. In 1888 he founded a company that produced peak commodity whose sole chief he was. Politically, he was a member of the Republican Party.

In the congressional elections of 1904 Schneebeli was in the 26th electoral district of Pennsylvania in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he succeeded the Democrats Joseph Horace Shull on March 4, 1905. Since he has not been confirmed in 1906, he was able to complete only one term in Congress until March 3, 1907.

After the end of his time in the U.S. House of Representatives Gustav Schneebeli resumed his previous activities in the forefront goods industry again. He died on 6 February 1923 in Nazareth, where he was also buried.
