Guus Hoogmoed

Guus Hoogmoed ( born September 27, 1987 in Utrecht) is a Dutch sprinter.

At the World Athletics Championships 2003 in Paris / Saint- Denis it was used in the flow of the 4 x 100 - meter relay and thus contributed to winning the bronze medal for the Dutch team.

He was at the European Indoor Championships in Madrid in fourth over 200m in 2005. At the World Championships in Helsinki, he reached the quarter final of the 100 m and 200 m. In 2006, he retired at the European Athletics Championships in Gothenburg from over 200 m in the semifinals and came up with the Dutch 4 x 100 -meter relay to eighth place.

At the 2007 World Championships in Osaka he reached the quarter-finals. In 2008 he was part of the Dutch relay, which was disqualified at the Olympics in Beijing in the finals because of a faulty.

Four times in a row he was Dutch champion over 200 m, 2005 and 2007 also has 100 m. In the hall he won the national title twice each over 60 m (2006, 2008) and over 200 m (2005, 2012).
