Guyra Shire

Guyra is located in the northeast of the country about 570 km north of the city of Sydney and 430 km south of Brisbane. The area includes 57 districts and towns, including Backwater, Brockley, Guyra, Llangothlin, Oban, Tenterden, Tubbamurra, Wandsworth Wards Mistake and parts of Aberfoyle, Ben Lomond, Black Mountain, Bundarra, Tingha and Ebor. The seat of the Shire Council Guyra is located in the center of the LGA, where about 1,800 inhabitants.

Management

The Guyra Shire Council has six members who are elected by the residents of the three Wards ( two each from A, B and C. Ward). These three districts are set independently of the villages. From the circle of Councillor also the Mayor ( Mayor ) of the Council recruited.
