Hadi Soua'an Al-Somaily

Hadi Al- Soua'an Somaily (Arabic هادي صوعان الصميلي, DMG Hādī Su ʿ ān aṣ - Sumaili; born December 30, 1976 in Ta'if) is a Saudi Arabian hurdler who specialized discipline is the 400 - meter track.

At the World Championships 1995 in Gothenburg and in 1999 in Seville, he failed in the flow. At the 2000 Olympics in Sydney he won then surprising the Silver medal with his personal best of 47.53 seconds behind Angelo Taylor (USA ) and before Llewellyn Herbert (RSA ).

At the 2001 World Championships in Edmonton, he was fourth. In 2002, he won gold at the Asian Games and the 2005 Asian Championships.
