Haidar Al-Shaïbani

Haidar Al- Shaibani ( born March 31, 1984 in Sétif, Algeria ) is a Canadian soccer player. Since 2009 he plays for French club Olympique Nîmes.

Playing career

University

From 2004 to 2007 Al- Shaibani played for the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. In all four years he was appointed each team in the Ontario University Athletics All-Star. In 2007 he was player of the year. Besides football at the University he played for London City and North York Astros in the Canadian Soccer League.

Olympique Nîmes

In 2009 he moved to France to second division Olympique Nîmes. He made his debut on 25 August 2009, compared ES Troyes AC in a League Cup match.

National

2007 and 2009, Al- Shaibani was part of the Canadian team at the Universiade. In 2007 he finished fourth with the team in Bangkok.
