Hakan Kutlu

Hakan Kutlu ( born January 14, 1972 in Amasya, Turkey ) is a former Turkish football player and current coach. Through his many years of service and the success achieved for MKE Ankaragucu he is very strongly associated with this club. On fan and club sides, he is regarded as one of the greatest players in the club's history and as Büyük Kaptan (English: Great Captain) respectively. With 356 games, he is the player with the most Erstligaeinsätzen for Ankaragucu and is in the list of players with most Süper Lig inserts at 50th place. He played his entire professional football career as a player for Ankaragucu and also took over twice the post of head coach.

Club career

Kutlu played his entire career for MKE Ankaragucu. For the Blue - Yellow The defender played in 14 years, 357 games and scored six goals.

Coaching career

Kutlu took over immediately after the end of his career in October 2007, the post of head coach at MKE Ankaragucu. He was the successor of Hans -Peter Briegel. Kutlu finished the season with his team on the 8th Place. The 2008/09 season was a chaotic season for the young coach. He was fired after a 3-0 defeat against Sivasspor on 19 October 2008. He returned still in the same season in January 2009 back to the dugout from Ankaragucu. Kutlu was dismissed for a second time after a defeat against Kayserispor on 21 March 2009.

Kutlu was fired from the same club twice in one season. In the 2009/10 season Kutlu was from 11 Matchday coach at Denizlispor. He did not make it to back with the team in the league, and we dismounted in the second league. He was released and took over for the new season Manisaspor. In Manisaspor he remained only the first four days. After four defeats in four games he had to vacate his seat.

Kutlu returned only to the 2011/12 season back to the dugout. His new employer is the third time MKE Ankaragucu. From December 2011 to July 2012 Kutlu worked there and then resigned after differences with the club's management of his office. Later Özlem Yılmaz was presented as his successor.
