Hamgyong

Hamgyeong -do (Japanese Kankyo ) was a Korean province in the northeast of the country. It was founded in 1413 and divided in 1896 Hamgyeongbuk -do and Hamgyeongnam -do. Their capital city was Hamheung. Hamgyeung bordered by China to the north, to the Sea of ​​Japan in the east, as well as Pyeongan -do in the south and west.
