Hamr (Jindřichův Hradec District)

Hamr ( German hammer village) is a village in the Czech Republic. It is located 13 kilometers southeast of Trebon and belongs to Okres Jindřichův Hradec.

Geography

Hamr is located east of Lainsitz on Koštěnický creek surrounded by large fish ponds in the area of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Třeboňsko in the plane of the Trebon Basin. West of Hamr is the famous for water sports Lainsitzwehr Pilař.

Neighboring towns are Lutová in the north, Chlum u Třeboně in the northeast, Josefovo Údolí in the east, the south and Klikov Majdalena in the northwest.
