Original version

The 15 -year-old daughter of a French flower seller, LunLun is visited by the talking cat Cateau and a talking dog Bernie Nouveau. These were sent by the king of the distant planet Flowern. There, an evil queen has seized power and is now looking seven magical flowers that exist on Earth. Production and publication

Toei Animation produced the 50 - part series, directed by Hiroshi Shidara on a concept by Shiro Jinbo. For the character design Michi Himeno, Mitsuo Shindo and Shingo Araki were responsible. Artistic Director was Eiji Ito and composed the music Hiroshi Tsutsui. The biasing song Hana no Ko Lunlun (花の子ルンルン) by Mitsuko Horie and The Chaps, used for the credits to Onna no Ko tte (女の子 って) of Asei Kobayashi and Yuko Inomata.

The series was first broadcast on 9 February 1979 to 8 February 198 at TV Asahi. In Germany, the sequences 1 to 4 and 14 to 19 were the beginning of the 80s released on VHS and Betamax of the label " Toppic ". When label "Corona" was a VHS edition of the sequences 1 to 4 and 14 to 15 The German editing was done by Theo Partisch.
