Hardline (Band)

Hardline is an American hard rock band that was known primarily for her debut album Double Eclipse. It is also associated with the Adult Oriented rock ( AOR).

History

Hardline was founded in 1991 by brothers Johnny and Joey Gioeli, after both had previously played already together in several bands, including with brunette. As support they brought guitarist Neal Schon and drummer Deen Castronovo of Journey to the studio. Also for the first line-up was ex- bassist Todd Jensen Sequel. 1992 published her first album Hardline Double Eclipse, which had a comparatively great success with number 17 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. The video for the single Takin ' Me Down was also known at MTV.

Already after the first album the band was falling apart again. Already took care of a result by other projects. Also Castronovo and Todd Jensen left the band shortly after the release and Ozzy Osbourne's band joined in. Castronovo returned back as early as 1996 to her old band Journey. For the second album II ( 2002) the Gioeli brothers brought with Bobby rock a former Brunette colleagues as drummer. Angel keyboardist Michael T. Ross himself joined the band as well as other new musicians. The second album had considerable success. In June 2002, Hardline was the headliner at The God Festival in Bradford, England, from which also a live recording was recorded. In 2009 published the album Hardline Leaving The End Open, now. Different line with Michael T. Ross on keyboards, Jamie Brown as the new bassist and drummer Atma Anur

The fourth studio album Danger Zone was released in May 2012 again changed line. Johnny Gioeli remained the band continued as a front man and singer, but changed the entire cast of Hardline. As a composer of songs served the Italian musician Alessandro Del Vecchio, the backing vocals and the keyboards took over the recordings. The band joined in addition to the new guitarist Thorsten Koehne also Anna Portalupi as bassist and drummer Francesco Jovin.
