Harley Cokeliss
Harley Harley Cokeliss also Cokliss ( born February 11, 1945 in San Diego, California as Harley Louis Cokliss ) is an American film director, screenwriter and film producer. He became famous for the movies Black Moon, Malone, Dream Demon - The dream demon and hunt for a nameless.
Life and career
Harley Cokeliss, born in 1945 in San Diego, California, grew up in Illinois in Chicago. In 1966 he moved to England to study at the London Film School. In 1970 he began to realize their own documentaries as a director, including Chicago Blues ( 1970), It's Fantastic! It's Futuristic! It's fatalistic! It's science fiction! (1973 ) and The Need for Nightmare ( 1974). Since 1976 Cokeliss is in the film business in several other functions working, including as a screenwriter and producer.
After The Glitter Ball in 1977, he turned in 1982 with The Mech his second science fiction film. In 1986 he directed from a screenplay by John Carpenter, the film production Black Moon starring Tommy Lee Jones, Linda Hamilton and Robert Vaughn in the lead roles. A year later, the action film Malone with Burt Reynolds in the title role. In 1988, he led then in the horror film Dream Demon - The Dream Demon Director. In 2000, under his leadership, the action thriller was hunting a nameless with Ray Liotta. Cokeliss took over in addition to directing, producing and also wrote the screenplay for the film.
