The Harmersbach is a body of water in the western Black Forest. He is the left upper reaches of the Erlenbach near Gengenbach in Ortenaukreis in Baden -Württemberg and a second-order tributary of the Kinzig. The valley was once the only " Free Reichstal " the Holy Roman Empire.

Sometimes the lower reaches of the Erlenbach Harmersbachs is expected for this or vice versa the Harmersbach to Erlenbach.

The mündungsfernste source of springing as Zuwalder Bach Harmersbachs lies about 0.4 km north of the head of a cock summit, below Herben between the saddle and the Paul hut, in the northeastern tip of the municipality of Oberharmersbach.

Course

At least as of this influx is called the brook forest Erbach.

  • Small ditch, from right to Langhard to about 385 m above sea level. NN, 1.725 km. Arises about 0.3 km west of the summit of St. Ursula ' at about 690 m above sea level. NN.
  • Linde Bach, from right at Löcherberg to about 370 m above sea level. NN, 2.368 km. Arises about 0.3 km south of the transmitter on the Löcherberg Wasen to about 620 m above sea level. NN.

History
