Geography
Geographical Location
The small spa resort ( sun terrace in the middle Kinzig Valley ) Fischer Bach is situated in the middle of the Black Forest in the Kinzig valley in a quiet location just off the main road 33 The municipal area extends from the Kinzig in 220 meters height the forested slopes up to the top of the fire head 945 meters above NN. Nearly two-thirds of the district is covered with forests.
Neighboring communities
The municipality is bordered to the north by Oberharmersbach, on the east by the city Hausach, to the south and west by the city Haslach and to the northwest by the City of Gengenbach.

The municipality Fischer Bach includes the villages of fishermen Bach, Eschau, Eschbach and hamlets, the municipality part of the tower, the tines Anders Bach, Elle reason Hinterbutzenberg, Hintertal, Mitteltal, Vorderbutzenberg and Vordertal, the hamlet Hirlinsgrund and the courts Bergeck, Elmlisgraben, Epplinsberg, Haberberg, Holzberg, Karfunkelstadt, diet mountain, Nill ( courtyards ), Upper spirit Acker, upper right ditch, arbitration mountain, stone walls, under mind field, under right ditch, Vogelsberg and Waldstein.
History
Fischer Bach was first mentioned in 1139 in a deed of gift of the Lords of Wolfach in the monastery Alpirsbach. The village belonged to the monastery parts Gengenbach and the lords of Wolfach, later came to the County of Fürstenberg. 1806 Fischer Bach was Baden.
