Harrison Township is one of 14 townships of Carroll County in the U.S. state of Ohio. According to the census in 2000 2498 inhabitants were registered here.

Geography

Harrison Township is located north-west of the geographical center of Carroll County in eastern Ohio and borders clockwise to the townships: Brown Township, Augusta Township, Washington Township, Center Township, Union Township, Monroe Township and Rose Township.

Management

The township is administered by a Board of Trustees consisting of three elected members. Two persons are elected in the year after the presidential election and one each in the previous year. The term of office lasts four years, beginning on 1 January. There is also a Township Clerk ( responsible for finance and budget), which is also elected in the year before the presidential election to a four -year term. Whose term of office begins on April 1.
