Rose Township is one of 14 townships of Carroll County in the U.S. state of Ohio. According to the census in 2000 1603 inhabitants were registered here.

Geography

Rose Township is located in the extreme west of the Carroll County in eastern Ohio and bordered clockwise to the townships: Sandy Township, Stark County, Brown Township, Harrison Township, Monroe Township, Warren Township, Tuscarawas County and Pike Township ( Stark County ). The northern boundary of the township is marked by the Seven Ranges Terminus.

Management

The township is administered by a Board of Trustees consisting of three elected members. Two persons are elected in the year after the presidential election and one each in the previous year. The term of office lasts four years, beginning on 1 January. There is also a Township Clerk ( responsible for finance and budget), which is also elected in the year before the presidential election to a four -year term. Whose term of office begins on April 1.
