HAT-P-4b

HAT- P -4b is an exoplanet orbiting a yellow dwarf HAT- P- 4, all 3.057 days. Due to its high mass is assumed that it is a gas planet.

Discovery

Unlike the majority of exoplanets it has been discovered using the transit method. The planet was discovered by the HATNet Project in 2007.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of about 0.0446 astronomical units and has a mass of about 216.2 Earth masses and 0.68 Jupiter masses. Its radius is estimated to 91,000 km.

Climate and composition

It is estimated that there is on the planet a temperature of 1227 ° C.
