Heartbeat City is the fifth studio album by the band The Cars, released in March 1984 and was named after the song.

History

All songs on the album were written by Ric Ocasek. Originally Robert Lange should also produce the Def Leppard - Hysteria album in addition to the album, but due to the long recording time may be postponed the recording of this album. The bonus track Stranger Eyes found its use in the film Top Gun.
