Heartless Bastards
Heartless Bastards is an American blues and indie - rock band that was founded in 2003 in Cincinnati, Ohio. The band's name comes from a knowledge quiz in which was offered as a possible answer for the name of the companion of Tom Petty Heartless Bastards the.
History
Besides Erika Wennerstrom and Dave Colvin, which are still in the band were Adam McAllister on bass and Michael Weinel as lead guitarist founding members. The first appearance they had in August 2003, the bar The Comet in Cincinnati. After Colvin, McAllister and Weinel had left the band, Wennerstrom made with Kevin Vaughn on drums and Mike Lamping on the electric bass. In 2004, she signed a record deal with Fat Possum Records, after Patrick Carney of The Black Keys had there passed a demo recording.
The first album Stairs and Elevators came on the market in 2005. On August 8, was released in 2006 with All This Time 's second studio album. In August 2008, the band announced a new cast. Only Erika Wennerstrom remained in the band. Jesse Ebaugh and Dave Colvin from the original line-up came back. On 3 February 2009, the third album, The Mountain appeared. On 14 February 2012 the fourth album, Arrow was published in Partisan Records, on which Mark Nathan on the electric guitar added the occupation.
