Heinrich Reinhardt

Henry Enrique Reinhardt ( born March 29, 1903 in Stettin, † June 14, 1990 in Argentina ) was a German chess master.

Reinhardt took part in the German Championships in 1934, 1935, 1937 and 1938.

At the Chess Olympiad 1939 in Buenos Aires, he played on the first reserve board, scoring 6.5 points from 12 games ( 5 = 3 -4). The German team won the gold medal. Due to the outbreak of war he returned and his teammates Erich Eliskases (1913-1997), Ludwig Engels (1905-1967), Albert Becker (1896-1984) and Paul Michel (1905-1977) no longer return to Europe, but began a new life in South America.

Reinhardt involved in the national championship of Argentina 1952, 1954, 1955, 1958, 1959, 1960 and 1961. Zone at tournaments he participated in 1951 in Mar del Plata and in 1960 in São Paulo in part.

His best historical Elo rating of 2518, he had in June 1934 that he is ranked 64 of the subsequently calculated for that date world rankings.
