Heinz Holzer

Heinz Holzer ( born August 28, 1964 in Bruneck ) is an Italian former Alpine skier. The special discipline of the South Tyrolean was the Super -G.

In 1984, Holzer was Italian Champion in the combination and in 1986 in the Super -G. He celebrated his biggest success in the Super - G World Cup race in 1988 in Leukerbad, in which he finished third. Two more times he could be placed in his career as tenth in the top 10. Holzer participated in the 1988 Olympics in Calgary and took part there in eleventh place in the Super -G.

Currently ( 2013), Holzer has worked as a ski instructor in Olang and Skischulpräsident in Cimaschool and hiking guide in Kronplatz- Resort.
