Henech Kon
Henekh Kon Kon also Henryk (* 1890 in Łódź, † 20 April 1972 New York) was a composer of Yiddish theater and journalist.
Life
Born in 1880, the son of Yosef Kons, he should first complete a classic Jewish training with his grandfather in Kutno. As became increasingly evident that he would not become a rabbi, he went to Berlin to attend a music school.
In 1912, Kon back to Poland. In 1940 he emigrated to the United States of America. Kon composed 1937, the music for the film The Dybbuk. He said: " In all my life I have dedicated myself to do any work with such devotion. "
