Henkie Waldschmidt

Henkie Waldschmidt ( born June 28, 1988 in The Hague) is a Dutch racing driver.

Waldschmidt began his motorsport career in 1995 in karting, where he was active until 2005. He won some Junior Championships. In 2006 he moved to Formula racing and launched 2.0 Eurocup, both in the Italian Formula Renault and Formula Renault. While he finished 15th overall in the Eurocup, he was sixth in the Italian Formula Renault. In 2007, he remained in the two championships and finished both driver ratings seventh overall. This year he scored three victories.

2008 Waldschmidt moved to the Formula 3 Euro Series SG Formula and he remained in his first season with no points. His best result was a seventh place. 2009 denied Waldschmidt for SG Formula his second season in the Formula 3 Euro Series. This year, he scored first in the points standings and he finished the season 12th in the overall standings.

In December 2008, Waldschmidt made ​​during test drives of the Toyota team first experience in a Formula 1 racing car.
