Henry O

Henry O (actually, Jiang Xi Ren ) ( born July 27, 1927) is a Chinese actor, who now lives and works in the United States.

Life

O grew up in China, where he attended English and American missionary schools. After he had collected several decades of experience as an actor and assistant artistic director in children's theater, he emigrated with his wife to the United States, where his grandson lived. From the late 1980s O began to appear as an actor in international cinema productions. Almost without exception, he was firmly placed on the role of older Asians, which he set in award winning dramas such as Bernardo Bertolucci's Oscar-winning The Last Emperor (1987) and Scott Hicks ' Snow Falling on Cedars (1999), as well as action films such as American Shaolin ( 1991), Romeo must Die (2000) and Rush Hour 3 (2007) took over.
