Herbert Norsch
Herbert Frederick Norsch ( born August 15, 1908 in St. Louis, Missouri, † July 28, 1955 in Los Angeles, California ) was an American film special effects technicians, who was nominated for the Academy Awards in 1941 for an Oscar for best special effects.
Life
Norsch began his career as a film special effects technicians in 1940 in the film Women in War and has been nominated for this along with Howard Lydecker, William Bradford and Bud Thackery at the Academy Awards in 1941 for an Oscar for best special effects.
He worked until shortly before his death on as a film technician and worked in the production of nearly thirty films and episodes of television series with.
