Already after 17 of 22 games without defeat, the HSV secured the promotion back to the 1st Bundesliga after 20 games and the championship. The Herforderinnen remained undefeated throughout the season and thus put another record on. Stadium

Sporting home is the Ludwig- Jahn-Stadion in Herford.
