Hermann Friedrich Krummacher

Hermann Friedrich Krummenacher ( born October 17, 1828 in Langenberg ( Rhineland ), † June 15, 1890 in Weingarten (Württemberg ) ) was a German Protestant theologian and a pioneer of the Inner Mission ( diakonia ) in Pomerania. He was the son of Emil Wilhelm Krummenacher and the elder brother of Karl Emil Krummenacher.

Life

After studying theology, he held a two-year assistantship in the napping house in Hamburg Johann Hinrich Wichern. 1856 reformed pastor in Brandenburg, 1877 consistory and secretary of the Provincial Association for Home Mission in Szczecin.
